[ltp] modem on thinkpad r51 type 2888CA4

Thinkpad model: R51 - 2888CA4

could someone who has been able to get the modem working under 2.6.10
kernel point out how? any links?

tried the linmodem hsf... it connects at 14.4.

may be i must get the full version or is it better use a standard
pcmcia modem. i need to use it for fascmile transmissions also.
any recommendations?

there was the link at thinkwiki for a smartlink full 56k

gives some error as saying no rules.

windows reveales the device as a conexant

ibm part lookup says: 93P4165	93P4166	MODEM DAUGHTER CARD FRU
