If there are, I haven't found them.

Yes, the ATAPI-over-SATA stuff is quite stable. SuSE and I think Fedora
have been enabling it in their kernels for quite some time now. However,
jgarzik still doesn't think it's ready to be enabled in mainline by
default. He was planning on being finished...right about now, actually.
But I don't think it will be enabled in 2.6.13. We'll see.
