[ltp] Preferred distro for Thinkpads?

Works fine in R40 (Pentium-4, not Centrino, mod 2681HSG).  All works fine, 
included KMilo and scroll with trackpoint + blue central button.

ACPI doesn't works, seems that due to IDE problems, and seems that is very 
strange --I don't locate solution :(
