[ltp] radeon x300

Hi,
I'm setting Arch linux up on my T43. As far as I understand, at the
moment the radeonfb driver doesn't work with X300, does it? I want to
set the VT's to have a "bigger resolution" - smaller font, more
columns and lines. However, if I set vga=3D790 for example, I get the
same result as with the radeonfb driver : after starting up, all I am
left with is VT1 which is continuosly redrawn (as though the driver
was restarting again and again). What could I be doing wrong?
