You know... I know we all deplore the recovery partition, and all that,
and everyone deletes it, but I never deleted mine, and can run PC
Doctor and Battery Rundown whenever I want because it's still there.
I just hit the Thinkpad button at boot. On smaller hard drives 2GB
may be significant, but on an 80GB drive, I really think it's worth
losing 1/40th of the drive so I don't have to chase round for a floppy
drive, burn ISOs, mail LTP 20 times etc. :) But then I am chicken,
and keep XP on my drive "just in case".
Don't stone me, just my opinion.
Oh, and Battery Rundown didn't unfortunately help my battery life :)
I had great hopes!
