[ltp] Microsoft wireless "comfort" keyboard/mouse on A31p running Linux

I have an A31p running SLackware Linux (2.4.30 kernel). My wife purchase=
d a
Microsoft "Comfort" wireless keyboard and mouse for her laptop running wi=
ndows.
I like the keyboard and mouse so tried them on my the A31p running Linux=
=2E
These messages fill the log until I unplug the usb connector -

The address goes up to 127 and then cycles back to 1.
I have tried both the uhci.o and usb-uhci.o (not at the same time :-)modu=
les.
Both exhibit the same problem.)
Anyone able to get this keyboard/mouse to work?
