That was probably me.  I saw the recovery partition displayed as "Windows
NT/2000" when I installed GRUB to the MBR, but I cannot boot the partition. 
I thought maybe it was a grub problem but pressing the AccessIBM button
yielded the same BSOD that trying to boot it via GRUB did.  I called IBM and
told them that I had a system problem and tried to use the recovery partition
and it didn't work.  They're now sending me the recovery CDs for free.
