Can you send me a private email with the output? I don't have any
experience with Gentoo's  kernel tree, I suspect that it is similar to
RedHat and SuSE's in terms of patching.

Yeah, I will probably make the patch tonight. Also, from what I
understand the TrackPoint patch has been integrated in to the official
input git repository. The next time Andrew pulls updates in to -mm
things will be easier. It shouldn't take long for it to find its way
in to Linus' tree.
