None of the sensors accessible through ibm-acpi is in or near the hard
disk, or significantly correlated with it (see
http://thinkwiki.org/wiki/Thermal_sensors).

But I've never seen my disk reach out-of-spec temperatures, (7200RPM
60GB, T43) .
