That sounds nice enough already!  I have lots of RAM, too, but never
managed to make the laptop work 100% on RAM, which I attribute to my
use of XFS.  Back in the day I wanted max. HDD performance and went
with XFS, but now I'd prefer "diskless" operation...

I'm thinking about reformating my HDD soon, so I'd be very interested
in your setup.
