Christopher,

I can't speak to that model, but usually a "mic" input is mono.  A "Line 
In" is stereo.

Also, a "mic" level input is usually not the same level as a "line in".  
I wanna say that the mic has a lower level and needs to be amp'ed before
going to a line in, but don't quote me on that.
