Michelle,
Good news, when Intel released the Sonoma platform, it includes some new
Video features. The architecture is based on PCI Express and you can
really get a nice video card.
Currently the T43 (not ready till march or so) has the PCI-E, DDR2, and
could have nvidia drivers. I dunno about IBM and nvidia, but the Sonoma
platform looks like more nvidia to me.
I think that in 4 months we will be able to get a laptop that will be
able to play most of the games that go out with it.
I had a Dell 8600 128 MB video and decided to move to IBM T42 because
the 8600 was toooo big. I was going to get a 64MB Video card, but the
PC's were not in Stock :(
Hold your horses and wait for some 3-5 months and yo'll probably see
what is going to be a cool PC. |T43 with nvidia graphics-or ATI- :(|
