[ltp] Burning DVDs on a T41p with the slim burner 73P3294 ?

Dear all,

I am planing to buy a DVD burner for my T41p, more precisely the "IBM
Multiburner DVD/CDR - UltraBay Slim 73P3294"

I couldn't find a precise response for a similar question asked here on
may 2004. Are there any new information ? Is this hardware supposed to
work "out of the box" with cdrecord ?
