Add "unstable" to your sources.list. For example, here's my sources.list file.

***begin quoted material***
deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux testing _Sarge_ - Official Snapshot i386 Binary-2
(20041008)]/ unstable contrib main
deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux testing _Sarge_ - Official Snapshot i386 Binary-1
(20041008)]/ unstable contrib main
deb http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib
deb http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/ testing main contrib
deb http://mirrors.kernel.org/debian/ unstable main contrib
***end quoted material***

The two cdrom entries are for a DVD set my friend Chad Page made for me...it's
a full snapshot of testing, from October 2004. I have broadband so updating
to a nice sarge/sid hybrid system is cake. Occasionally when I install
something apt-get asks for either the first or second DVDs, which means I
need to keep them handy. But usually updates get pulled from the Net.

mirrors.kernel.org/debian/ is a great mirror to use...good strong bandwidth.

Once you add "unstable" to your sources.list, you will be able to grab
whatever latest and greatest and most bleeding-edge kernel package you want.

Michelle
