Yeah. It's not too hard. You just have to follow the instructions on 
r300.sf.net very closely. It also updates very quickly... There's 
several patches a day to the r300 commit mailing list. More when Vlad is 
on his holidays (He's a student, so term time tends to mean a lot less 
work from him on r300, but not always), however there's several other 
people now who provide a lot of patches as well, so all in all it's 
actually moving really quickly forward.

I haven't managed to run tuxracer yet on it, but the nehe tutorials run 
fine in a window on my laptop. I didn't checkout the temps yet though 
with it running (not running at the moment, I'm back on an unpatched 
6.8.2-rc3). [Mainly due to flakey restores a couple of times from 
suspend to ram].
