Granted: I've never run XP on my T42. I just called IBM and they happily
shipped me a copy of the restore CD's. All eight of them. For no extra
charge. I took the disk space back and haven't regretted it!

In fact, I received my T42 on a Monday and get everything reformatted
before I left on a 10 day business trip on Wednesday evening, or something
like that. IIRC, IBM even made sure I had my CD's before I left. I'm not
sure it was /quite/ that fast, but I do know that they did a very good job
taking care of me.

Great Keyboards! Great Screen! Great Customer Support! Go IBM!
