Sorry for the late response.
dmsg shows that acpi is up and running.
So i guess the problem is with the ibm module it self.
I have an old laptop thinkpad 570 but at sourceforge i saw that it is=20
supported.=20
Is the version of debian ibm_acpi differs from the one at sourceforge?
