When it comes to the newer prereleases or snapshots (2.6.11-rc4, bk?),
there are some difference, as some patches are already in place, namely
the 02-..., 03-..., 04-... seem to be included in the kernel source or 
in software suspend. But the 05-... patch (maybe also 01-...) is the
important one, that needs also special care in placing the model number
there.

Right now I am runnung 2.6.11-rc4-bk8 with softwaresuspend2 2.1.7 (for
2.6.11-rc4) plus the mentioned subset of the radeon patches gives me a
really stable machine (T41, 2373-2GG).
