T40 (2373-92G), plain 2.6.10 kernel (even though same seems to apply to
2.6.10-rc3-mm1).
Sleep to RAM: excessive battery drain (approx. 9% per hour of an high
capacity batt) and devices remain lit (USB mouse, network plug and
ultrabay light).
Under APM (and 2.6.9) the following:
modprobe -r usbhid
modprobe -r uhci_hcd
modprobe -r ehci_hcd
turned the USB attached mouse light off. Now it disables it's function
but light stays onn.
Follows list of modules.
Thank you for any help.
(Related question: when I try a modprobe -r of a module and it refuses
saying it's in use, how can I discover by what ?)
