[ltp] Any hope for Radeon M6 LY?

Hi,

I own a T40. Unfortunately, it's equipped with Radeon M6 LY
and I get no more than 360 fps in glxgears. 

Has anyone had success with getting this card to work faster?
Are there any plans for better support of this chipset?
I know it's inferior to M7, but in Windows I get decent
performance while in Linux it's more like a Voodoo 2 or
less.
