Nigel:

I put a 7K60 in my 600E and it worked just fine.  I also put the 32GB 
from a A22p in the same system and everything was ok after I installed 
the original operating system onto it.
As long as the drive is either a 9mm or a 12mm drive, you should not 
have a problem.
