thank you for pointing out.

If I understand there are TWO patches there with one called "new 
proposed patch" 17 Jan 2005 and the first one July 2004.

Should I apply both of them ?

How ? Just by saving them in a text file and placing them in the same 
directory as radeon_pm.c and issuing a patch -p0 or something similar ?
