So, is anyone else gonna be there?
http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/live/12/events/12BOS05A
I'm getting a 4 am train from NY on Feb 15th that gets me in to Boston
around 8:30 so I can complete my registration & hit the exhibition floor
as it opens at 10. I'm staying in Boston that night and getting a 3pm
train home the next day, so I can revisit any good stuff and catch
anything I missed before I have to go.
Seriously, this was a blast last year- lots of free t-shirts & stuff
(Xandros gave away their flagship distro to the first 50 or so each day
last year for example), lots of networking, see what the big guys are up
to, a chance to support the smaller guys in the .org pavillion, and I
actually learned a few things!
If any of you can make it it'd be cool to link up maybe for lunch or
dinner, or just to say hi on the expo floor, and put some faces to the
names I see every day.... anyone else local or making the trip?
I'll be taking my Thinkpad & camera, so I'll try and put up a report
and some pics, and who knows... I may even show off my new Tux tattoo
(yes, it's real, got it a week ago Friday, my wife calls it my "mid-life
crisis", but my kid thinks it's cool!).
