With today's HEAD, I'm now getting the following results:
9063 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1812.600 FPS
9067 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1813.400 FPS
9061 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1812.200 FPS
9056 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1811.200 FPS
9036 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1807.200 FPS
So something changed.. but its better than 500fps that I was
getting before building the r300 driver.
There are a few couple of buglets with it though:
1.) Suspend to disk doesn't display the text-mode progress
indicator. Its hard to tell if the laptop is actually
suspending, or just locked-up.
2.) The fan runs constantly, even with DynamicClocks on, and
the laptop in general is _noticably_ warmer.
3.) Running any GL screensaver in the root window immediately
hard-locks the machine. On my T23 with the Savage DRI
driver, this never happened.
Other than that, things are working great. Suspend to disk,
suspend to RAM, 3D games, GL screensavers, the works.
