Yep, We kind of knew this. Check

"Low-g Accelerometers - Low-g accelerometers, which typically range from ±1g
to ±20g, are used in a broad spectrum of consumer, industrial and automotive
applications ranging from mobile phone handsets to hard drive protection
systems to safety-critical automotive electronic stability control systems.
"

I think it should only now say "IBM", it looks to me that this one is the
right one.

It also looks to me that it is the ADXL320.
"The ADXL320 is an ultra small package (4 mm x 4 mm x1.45 mm LFCSP) and low
power (350 µA current at 2.4 V) ±5 g iMEMS® accelerometer designed to
accommodate the integration requirements of mobile phones and other portable
devices for a variety of motion, tilt, and inertial sensing features (e.g.,
data entry, menu and display control, power management, situational
awareness, navigation, and portrait vs. landscape display orientation). The
ADXL320 also enables security features and hard disk drive protection
systems in notebook computers, as well as position and tilt sensing for PC
and gaming peripherals such as mouse and joystick devices."

Is there anyone here, that could WILL know what could be needed to get this
working or to be given to a dev that would want to make a driver for it? The
data sheet is there, is there a required Programming API?

I just sent an email to Analog, and let's see what they can send me.
Hopefully then, I can look for a developer.
