Yes, both with (LVDS, TMDS) and (LVDS, CRT). Only the external port
seems to be corrupted.

Yes. In 6.8.2, uthe VGA port works correctly; if I try to use the DVI
port using (LVDS, TMDS), the Xserver completely refuses to start up.
(LVDS, CRT) works fine, however.

No. With your patched version, the Xserver comes up both with the (LVDS,
TMDS) and (LVDS, CRT) configuration, but in both cases the external
(TMDS/CRT) port shows a garbled screen, and only the LVDS port works
correctly.
