Hi Paul-
I profess ignorance on 2.4 kernel support for the other pci wireless
cards. You could use linuxant with the 2200bg card on a 2.4 kernel.
I've used linuxant on both versions of kernels if memory serves. Right
now I use linuxant drivers for some linksys wpc54g cards and the systems
used to run a 2.4 kernel at some point; but the linuxant drivers also
work with the 2200bg cards I believe.
