2) Yes, two antennas on the AP may help - it will create receive diversity =
and perhaps transmit diversity, making the AP hear your laptop better (rece=
ive diversity) and making the laptop hear your AP better (transmit diversit=
y).
A better option is probably to invest in a higher gain antenna for your AP,=
 and perhaps a directional antenna (pointing the coverage to a specific are=
a).
