Brad,
can you tell us what are the advantages of evms versus LVM2 ? LVM is 
included in the 2.6 kernels while AFAIK evms is not.

I also think swap and/or root on dynamic volumes are more trouble than 
benefits (and I doubt swap can be used on a LV).
