I'm interested in getting a GPRS card for my T21, and am thinking of
buying the Sony Ericsson GC79 card with a plan from T-Mobile. The card
is a combined GPRS/802.11b
http://www.t-mobile.com/products/overview.asp?phoneid=224272&class=phone,
and the plan is $29.99/month all-you-can-eat
http://www.t-mobile.com/plans/default.asp?tab=internet, and I was
encouraged that I managed to google some pages that say it can work with
Linux- http://hardware.mcse.ms/archive42-2005-2-110936.html &
http://www.internecik.com/?p1=howto&a1=se_gc75linux for example.
Does anyone have any experience with this card/plan? I'd just like to
get some input before I take the plunge as the plan is a 12 month
contract. I'm running Libranet (a Debian-based distro) 2.8.1, 2.4.26
mostly, but can also boot into Mepis or Ubuntu, T21, 800MHz, 384 RAM.
TIA,
