[ltp] R51: ATI powerplay support for XFree86 4.3 ??

Hi Florian,

have you tried this powerplay-stuff from
http://bloc.balearweb.net/post/18/2334 out? Results?

The patch noticed there
(http://bulma.net/~jander/weblog/999-radeon-pm.diff) seems to be quit
old - everything is from end of 2003. Does anybody know if it's better
to try the - newer? - patches from alex deucher he mentioned some mails
ago?
And: I can't find a debian-patchset of these newer patches - some hints?

PS: Martin Michlmayr seems to use the method from Alejandro Sobrino -
Jander (http://bloc.balearweb.net/post/18/2334) and has the patched and
recompiled server-xfree86 for sid made available for download
(http://www.cyrius.com/debian/nc4000/xserver-xfree86_4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.tbm.po=
werplay_i386.deb).
