As a data point, I've been using the madwifi drivers with ext3 using
2.6.11+radeon/ACPI patches, and not had any problems myself --- but
this is with a PCMCIA 3COM 802.11 a/b/g card, model number 3CRPAG175,
not with the mini-pci hardware. BTW, I highly recommend the card; it
works like a charm!
