Sorry to repeat guys, but I called IBM and they didn't have a clue and
I really need to know if this is going to work or not before it's too
late to send it back.

Does anyone have any idea what this error message really means? I've
heard that modern devices can share irqs and should all do it
automatically. I think other people have atheros cards in their T40s
and they work fine.

I don't know, is there a program in linux that I can use to change
some of the cards settings? I can press escape and boot into linux,
and lspci lists the card. Maybe changing some setting to get it
working would result in that error not being displayed at bootup.

Any help would really be appreciated.
