If your TP does not have a Supervisor Password set then you have an
unlocked TP, your work is done. Your TP is unlocked there is no
supervisor password set, however the hard disk may be password
locked, but if the supervisor password is not set, the hard disk
password won't be store in the eeprom and hence it cannot be
  recovered.

This suggests that there is a very odd setup: if the Supervisor
Password is set, then the Hard Disk password is stored in the eeprom
and therefore can be recovered (for $43 through that service). If you
don't use the Supervisor Password, then this guy, at least, can't get
your Hard Disk Password back.

Am I reading this correctly?
