Just to avoit misunderstanding:
You do have 2CRT's attached to your thinkpad not to any desktop pc?
Does the thinkpad's native LCD stay black if you have the monitor at the DVI
adaptor connected?
According to the radeon manpage this would mean that you can switch between
the LCD and DVI ouput on the primary head

I allready the two TFTs attached to my desktop.
One through DVI and the other through VGA. I want to connect the thinkpad vice
versa.
I had a look at your xorg.conf. You do have two separate screens ( not
cloned, but same resolution ) but you are not able to move windows from one
to another screen. Is that true?

Do you want to have two more CRTs (DELL P991, 19") ? You can have them for
free if you come to collect them: .ca -> .de -> .ca :-)

I do have a t41p (firegl T2 graka) and have ordered the portreplicator II for
the DVI output. The two TFTs I want to to connect do both have a resolution
of 1280x1024.
