I know that this will not be a big deal for most of
those on this list.
I have been asking on this list and others if anyone
has had any luck booting up a Thinkpad using any form
of non-rotating media.
This is a very big deal for me since, even though I'm
supposed to be retired, I still do a few control applications
and a using Thinkpad often gives the most and quickest bang for the buck.
It finally works.
I used a stock PNY attaché USB flash drive with a A31 and though
it takes a fair amount of time for the startup it does boot
up and execute a batch file.
The long startup time is not a problem because most of these
applications run 24/7.
Celebration time!!
