The suspend script should actually also kill those processes which block
the sound device (if RESTORE_SOUND=3D"yes")... but I remember a problem
with the script and I'm not sure if the fix went into 2006 or not. If it
doesn't work, you can try the suspend-scripts from cooker...

I don't know about KLaptop. Maybe it just triggers the suspend itself
instead of calling pmsuspend. If you can configure that, tell it to use
this command.
