i use (translated to your example)
kernel (hd0,4)/vmlinuz-2.6.14 root=/dev/hda6 resume=/dev/hda9 acpi_sleep=s3_bios apic
can you post an lspci from your system? maybe its an other module which
prevents the correct sleep cycle.
