That's the Lucent (ltmodem) driver - which works fine with the Intel
combo PCI card.  That's what I ended up having to do with my X20 - buy
an Intel combo card to replace the 3Com one.  Not all X20s came with the
Intel combo card.  Not sure if that's true of the T20 series or not.

Since you quoted "Unfortunately there isn't a driver for my 3COM modem
(3C556)" and that was all, I kinda assumed you were talking about the
3Com modem - which doesn't work with that ltmodem driver. :)
