Hi,

I testet a cardreader card, it works as expected.=20

The umts-card is known by the system,=20
she is shown as new and the correct hardware.

I tested with an fresh and untouched XP, with newest patches.

Installation without problem. But no connect possible. And the message:=20
searching for merlin 630.

Mit freundlichen Gr=FCssen/ kind regards

Henning Matthes

So that means that the card works, good.

Have You tried another known to work card with the T43p? If this card also =

fails to be recognised then I would guess that the T43p is faulty. As the=20
PCcard (or PCMCIA or CardBus, choose the fitting one) slots are enabled by =

default. What You should do as well is to check in Windows XP that it=20
detects=20
the PCcard slots.=20

Hope this helps

Cheers
Bernhard
