[ltp] Networking issues with Fedora Core 4 on T40 with Aironet

Just installed FC4 (my first laptop install) and I'm having some troubles
getting networking working. There is an unacceptable degree of latency
pinging a machine on the same network... about 60-100ms for a packet
round-trip (about fifty times longer than that of desktops running FC4 on
the same network). No change with taking down firewalls and a cable
problem has been ruled out by substituting another laptop.

Haven't gotten to wireless yet, but that is next on the list.

Could someone post or email me the output of /sbin/ifconfig on a running
T40 with FC4...
Any other ideas?
