Hello!
I'm using ibm-acpi to get the Fn + function key combinations to work,
currently using it with experimental=1 and enabling all combinations
except Fn-F5 (leaving that as is to turn on/off Bluetooth) with
echo enable > /proc/acpi/ibm/hotkey
echo 0xffef > /proc/acpi/ibm/hotkey
So far so good.
Using suspend2.net's Software Suspend works good as well, but lately I
have the problem that sometimes (maybe 1 out 10) after resuming I can't
use the shortcuts anymore. rmmod ibm_acpi and another modprobe ibm_acpi
gives me:
ibm_acpi: IBM ThinkPad ACPI Extras v0.11
ibm_acpi: http://ibm-acpi.sf.net/
acpi_bus-0077 [328003] acpi_bus_get_device : No context for object
[c1900de8]
ibm_acpi: dock device not present
Anyone else seen this? Google turns up nothing for that error message.
BTW: T43p, kernel 2.6.12.3
Regards
WK
