Hello all -
I have just purchased a dell 1905fp 19" monitor. It's default resolution
is 1280x1024@60Hz, according to the documentation. My laptop is a
thinkpad x40 -- it's LCD's default resolution is 1024x768.
Fn-F7 has switched me over to the 19", but I am unable to xrandr -s
1280x1024. When I do, it prints out the same thing as when I type xranrd
--help.
xrandr by itself prints this out:
 SZ: Pixels Physical Refresh
*0 1024 x 768 ( 382mm x 315mm ) *75
 1 800 x 600 ( 382mm x 315mm ) 75
 2 640 x 480 ( 382mm x 315mm ) 75
Current rotation - normal
Current reflection - none
Rotations possible - normal
Reflections possible - none
I have modified my xorg.conf to include two monitors and two screen
sections. The second screen section uses the dell "Monitor1."
It seems I don't have a 1280x1024 option for xrandr, however.
Any insight would be appreciated. I have attached my xorg.conf.
Thank you very much.
-David
