Nope - dark room mostly, never left in direct sunlight.  All I do is
*use it a lot* (all day long, most of the day), but in one place.

Do others find the T/R series plastic breaks sometimes (I guess T40+
as it's a new case) as myself and my correspondent above find?

Do others find IBM service very often take the default option of
assuming customer damage and warning you you'll have to pay, unlike
experience with previous vendors, who generally didn't?  Maybe it's
just UK call centres.

These are my only two complaints I have with my Thinkpad and support.
Everything else is a huge step forward over other vendors, but these
are serious drawbacks, and something of a surprise after the
reputation IBM have always had.  My T40 was my first thinkpad though.
Maybe the older ones are built better, and maybe times have changed
in support centres, trying to cut budgets.
