hi,

as far as I know, this is not possible. The songs are protected by a
system written in closed source. If someone would find out how to play
them on linux(on an open source software), he will find out, how to rip
them in a propper format.

wma =3D windows media audio

As windows tells you, this is made by Microsoft and Microsoft will be
the last one, who develops a linux player ;)

Try the cd-rip Version, after that you will be able to play your songs
on every system(freebsd, solaris, ipod, mpl3-player, dvd-player,
cd-player, etc.).

This is the disadvantage of DRM and that's why I wouldn't by such songs
and protected CDs, because they are not user friendly, but problem
friendly :(

Building an operation system without source code,
is like buying a self assemble space shuttle without
instructions.
