Hei,
I'd very much like to agree to Alex. The T23 is a wonderful machine and
the Tualatin based PIII-M it features together with the newer overall
system architecture really distiguishes it from the T20-T22.
Furthermore, compared to the 600X there are the following advantages:
* better performance because of better overall system components
* ThinkLight
* UltraPort
* UltraBay 2000 supports a wider range of devices than UltraslimBay,
the T23 even has UltraBay Plus
* Savage graphics should have better Linux support than Neomagic
* bigger Display
* not infected by the 600 series battery problem
* also, only the 650MHz 600X has Speedstep
The only advantage i can see in the 600X is the smaller footprint.
> or what about the X24?
The X24 is comparable to the T23, except that it doesn't have a builtin
drive and has a pretty small display, giving it a tiny footprint on the
other hand. However, i wouldn't take a X24 without UltraBase. And unless
you are keen about having an ultraportable, i would go for a T series.
