[ltp] Tascam US-122 and ThinkPad

I'm having some trouble getting my new Tascam US-122 external USB
sound card to work on my ThinkPad R40.

I'm not going to get into the details here, but there seems to be a
remote possibility that the problem is not with the US-122, but with
my USB interface.

Thus it would be very helpful to hear if anyone here has tried to get
a US-122 working with a ThinkPad. They all seem to have the same USB
interface, so ThinkPad model should be irrelevant, but please say
which model you have used with the device, and if you managed to get
it working or not.
