I know that that's the case with many of today's mice. In fact at work,
I do use such a mouse (no Trackpoint keyboard, unfortunately), and I
hate having to use the wheel as middle button - it's just too small.
The IBM/Lenovo "Optical 3-Button ScrollPoint Mouse (800dpi) PS/2 & USB"
mouse, though, has no wheel. Instead it has a scroll point *plus* a
middle button. This seems to be a great concept. However, I wonder
whether the mouse does work well with LINUX.
BTW, which model do you own? Part number, please.
