[ltp] xgl/opengl on T41, ATI7500

Greetings!

I have installed Ubuntu Dapper Beta on my T41 that has
ATI 7500. System RAM is 512 MB.

I would like to know if anyone has got xgl/opengl
working with this laptop specification?

I have followed the steps here:

Applications seem to open very slowly, but, when they
open the Gnome menu bar is hidden. I don't seem to get
any of the 3d cubes or task switching. Am I missing
something?

Appreciate any feedback in this regard.
