Hi Adrian:
I may not understand what I read on the internet, but I'm under the 
impression that for wireless connection the maximum speed you can get is 
half of the marketed speed. That is for G connection the max is 
27Mbit/sec. Did you use the plain G connection and measure the 
throughput over a large download?
